One-on-one coaching is tailored to your specific needs. It is an equal partnership in which both parties are committed to making you utilize all your abilities and inner strengths in order to get you where you want to be. The weekly coaching sessions are one-hour face-to-face meetings or telephone conversations. Coaching via telephone is standard practice in the coaching field and can be especially valuable at peak pressure periods, for times when you are on the move and for international clients.
The first meeting is dedicated to setting your goals and deciding upon measurable results for the period. At the end of each session, you and your coach will decide on a weekly challenge or key point of introspection that will get you moving solidly towards your targets.
The one-on-one coaching process may also include “shadow coaching” that allows you to obtain real-time feedback from an objective third party. Shadow coaching involves a coach with an actual presence in daily activities such as employee recruitment, board meetings, fundraising sessions and team meetings. Following the events, you will receive feedback based on your pre-determined objectives.
